It is a ventilator that extracts damp air from domestic subfloors helping to protect the house from mould and fungi growth termites and odours. When two ecofans are installed in the sub floor the cross flow of air is achieved to allow effective ventilation and improve. I have a similar problem were i have muskiness due to insufficient air space in the sub floor.
